For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

But he said to me, “ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, l will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 1 Corinthians 12:9

For sin shall no longer your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14

So, too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works, if it were, grace would no longer be grace. Romans 11:5-6

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “ God is opposed to the proud but shows favor to the humble.” James 4:5-6

For l am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle because I persecuted the church of God.  But by the grace of God l am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No. I worked harder than all of them - yet not l, but the grace of God that was with me. 1 Corinthians 15:9-10
