I know what is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. Philippians 4:12

Keep your lives from the love of money and be content with what you have because God has said, " Never will I leave you, never will l forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

Whoever loves money never has enough, whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless." Ecclesiastes 5:10

Then Jesus said to them, " Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions." Luke 12:15

There was a man all alone, he had neither son nor brother. There was no end to his toil, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. " For whom am I am toiling, and why am depriving myself of enjoyment.", he asked.  This too is meaningless - miserable business. Ecclesiastes 4:8

Better the little that a righteous have, than the wealth of many wicked. Psalms 37:16

But godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6
